On May 18, 2023, a webinar on the topic "Ignite the Entrepreneur in You" was organized by the PG Department of Microbiology in association with IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell). The session began with a welcome speech by Ms. Resna NK, Head of the Department, PG Department of Microbiology, GEMS Arts and Science. Ms. Nishana P, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Microbiology, introduced the guest speaker for the webinar. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Samsheer Babu, Head of the Department of Management Studies and IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell) convenor, SAFI Institute of Advanced Study, Vazhayoor. Mr. Samsheer Babu is an experienced and skilled lecturer in the field of entrepreneurship. During the webinar, Mr. Samsheer Babu delivered an interesting and informative lecture, aiming to inspire participants to explore their entrepreneurial potential. He provided insights into the world of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and taking calculated risks. Mr. Samsheer Babu supported his explanations with relevant examples, making it easier for participants to grasp the content. His lecture encouraged participants to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option. Following the lecture, there was an interactive session where participants had the opportunity to engage with Mr. Samsheer Babu.
