Department of Sociology and Social Work, GEMS Arts and Science College celebrated World Social Work Day on 16/03/2021 by spending time with the octogenarians and the young old men and women of Salva Care Home. The slogan of this years social work day celebration is 'ubuntu ' which means 'I am because we are'. The department is really proud that we could able to spend our important day with such gems of the society, we interacted with them, sung songs with them,their eyes and touch were saying they were really happy with our visit, they really made our day.
