Gems Library and Research Center in association with IQAC is conducting two days webinar session on the topic “Innovations through Library and Research Center” on 26, 27 October 2021. Dr. Tamal Kumar Guha [ Librarian and Head of the section, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Assam] will be the resource person on 26th October to handle the session about the topic “Library beyond four walls: Prospects and Challenges” from 6:30 pm onwards. Dr. Banamber Sahoo [Library and Information Officer, ICMR-Regional Medical Research center, Bhubaneswar] will be the resource person on 27th October to handle the session about the topic, “Innovative Library Services in Academic and Research Library”, from 6:30 pm onwards. Both of these sessions will be in Google Meet Platform. GEMS College Chairman Mr. Manjalamkuzhi Ali [Hon. MLA] will inaugurate the webinar chaired by Mr. Vasudevan Master [Vice-Chairman, GEMS College]. Dr. Naveen Mohan [Principal, GEMS College] will deliver the welcome speech and Mrs. Smitha Pramod [Librarian] will introduce the guest. Dr. BG Unni will deliver the Research and Academic Director’s Address.
