On October 3rd, 2022, a significant event took place when the National Service Project at ALP School orchestrated a Blindness and Cataract Checkup Camp in collaboration with the Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital, Perinthalmanna. This camp held special significance as it was focused on addressing the needs of individuals with visual impairments and cataracts within the community. The event was inaugurated by Campus Smart, adding an air of innovation and modernity to the endeavor.The collaboration between ALP School and Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital marked a powerful partnership, aiming to provide crucial healthcare services to those in need. The active involvement of Ummukulsu, Chakkachan, and President of Puzhakatri Grama Panchayat, further highlighted the community's dedication to the cause. The team of special eye doctors and volunteers they presented underscored the collective effort to ensure the success of the camp.One of the standout aspects of the camp was its inclusive approach, with a specific focus on differently abled individuals and those affected by cataracts. This commitment to inclusivity resonated strongly, showing that the organizers recognized the importance of addressing the unique healthcare needs of various segments of the community.
