Overview
Introduced in 2020, the M.Sc. Biotechnology programme is designed to provide advanced knowledge and practical training in modern biotechnology and its applications across healthcare, agriculture, industry, and research. The programme equips students with a strong foundation in molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, microbiology, and related life science disciplines, fostering analytical, research, and problem-solving skills essential for careers in academia, industry, and innovation-driven sectors.
Eligibility: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree securing at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc., B.Pharm., or other Life Science disciplines are eligible for admission.
