Resolved to conduct a student orientation programme in Association with student induction Programme (Dheeksharamb). Purpose of Student Induction Programme is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment of E-learning because of this pandemic situation and to inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration. Session was oraganised by PG Department of English language and literature and Session was coordinated by Rihas KT. Introduced importance of English Language to the new aspirants of English literature.He added that English Literature studies help to understand our world in all its social, political, economic and cultural aspects through stories, novels, poems, and plays.. Programme conducted on 1st November 2020 at 10:00 to 12:00 pm . Mr Rihas KT covered all the aspects of English language as means of communication as well as the lingua franka of universe. The session winded up after an interactive session of all the students and teachers of English Department. More than 38 students attended the session.
